    After the end of the maintenance, even though we can connect to eso we cannot see or host any games in the browser, there are no ladders at all and also the clan windows don 't work!

    Something went wrong i guess..?

    I just tested, game browsing and hosting works as well as quick match. Also seems that clans and ladders have been reset. This doesn't look too good.

    But clans have not been totally reset because it still shows your clan on your user account under info. I hope this can be all restored.

    I can't host a game, don't see any games hosted, and entering quick match and then cancelling results in the game stuck at "cancelling" and the only way out of that is to Task Manager> Kill game. Guess servers are still wonky, Ryan posted he'll do a reboot in 30 minutes, guess we'll wait.

    Game browser is not working on TAD idk about the other games.

    yeah for a second i thought i was removed from my clan. lmao. but yes gamebrowser and clan is f'd up

    aoe3 -no expansions the games work.

    TAD - Game browsing impossible

    Clans: (don't know how their made but most likely each clan has it's own file)

    So I'm thinking the individual clan files have not been loaded by the server but the clan you are in is still referenced in your user file on the server.  It is unknown whether or not the clan files still exist offline so it is best to not make new clans as this may cause the offline file to be over written. Please wait for Ryzon to login and inspect.

    A little description what happened today. 

    Game servers are kind of like a distributed network where each box does its own tasks.  Age3 has a bunch of servers, and server A handles say...the database, while B handles logins, C might handle matchmaking, D chat and clans, etc.  Some information was updated on one of the servers to match some records between reporting systems.  Unfortunately the record update caused (for example) Server D to be named Server d.  The other servers in the system then became unable to talk to Server d.  The lack of communication between scripts and services on the servers resulted in the issue you saw today - portions of ESO simply didn't work.

     

    Long story short, the naming issue is now corrected and all portions of the service are once again able to talk to each other. Yay.
