Can you please please explain to me the Operator slot in some conditions?
Thank you.
Also, I have a trigger, Always is checked and priority is high.
There are two conditions, both are Tech Status Equals
Type: Tech Status Equals
Player: 1
Tech: ChurchStandingArmy
Status: Active
and
Type: Tech Status Equals
Player: 2
Tech: ChurchStandingArmy
Status: Active
There are six effects, all are Create Unit Multi.
When I research Churchstandingarmy, the units aren't created, but when I set the condition status to obtainable, the units are created
when the game starts. What should I do? I want the units to appear when I research the tech. [Edited on 2/2/2006]

Is there any way to use your own home city in the scenario editor instead of the one it assigns you?

It would be nice if the mods made a sticky topic with links to the instructions, advice, guides and tutorials that help with common problems/questions that you keep getting posts about over and over again.

I am pretty sure this question has been answered before but I can't find it. How do I use 1 of my skirmish hc in a game I have made? I followed the directions given on heaven games and either I am doing them wrong or they dont work. [Edited on 2/3/2006]

AI player will not make ships and leave Island
PLEASE HELP!
In reference to a prior post, I have checked both HG and AgeOfWiki and have not found a solution to the AI control problem in Island/Navel games. The only help I found was on the HG site. There is a file download that claims to modify the settings in the AI Loader Standard. I have tried using this file for my AI player control. However, I get the same result. I am unable to get the AI controled players to leave their Island even with AI Loader Standard with rules activated. So for me the modified file did not work.
IS THERE ANY WAY TO FIX THIS!

I had trouble with this early on.
To use your own home city in a custom scenario you have to do some stuff.
1- go into C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\My Games\Age of Empires 3\Savegame ,and find you home city it will have a name like sp_newyork_homecity
2- copy the file you want
3- make a new folder and paste the hc in it. then rename the file to say, newyorkhomecity, you need to get rid of the sp_ part.
4- then go to C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Age of Empires III\Campaign and put your new folder with the hc file in it there.
it is now in the hc set to use when assigning a hc to a scenario for yourself.
This has worked for me.
You cannot however save any new xp to the moved file.
I hope this was clear for ya. [Edited on 2/3/2006]

How do I play on a map that I just created in map editor? I would like to play against the computer in a skirmish. I read from the others replys that you have to extract files? If that is the case how do I extract the files?
