    what exactly does ***bloodflow*** do, anyway? And, when I change a bunch of units' names and I select them all, it shows original names. (like when I rename 5 musketeers something like "Royal Guard" and select them all at once, it says Musketeer, not Royal Guard, unlike when they are selected one at a time. Can this be fixed? Any feedback would appreciated...

    @Arabian Knight
    Bloodflow is a visual effect that happens after a unit expires during the game..It has limited visual time..Then it disappears..To my understanding it can be used for cinimatics and screenshots as an added visual effect..You seem pretty savvy with triggers.. In regards to the second part of your post ..The only thing I can figure.. The royal guard is an upgrade for a civ..(British?)..This is found in the techtree.xml..If your triggers aren't doing what you're after maybe try the "player setage" effect along with the others you're using to get the desired results you're after..If that doesn't get it..You could try modding it, but it may cause problems with on-line play..Sorry I couldn't be of more help here..At least you have something to try if you havn't already..Hope I've helped you a little..
    Good Luck!

    @DX14

    You can place a gate on the map near the traderoute..Then select "position objects" at the top of the editor under objects..highlight the gate you placed and then you can put it where you wish.
    Hope this Helps.
    Good Luck!

    @Qui-gon
    Welcome!. You can only make scenarios with the scenario editor..You then can save them as.scn files in the editor..You can then bring them up in the editor to play or you can play them as single player custom scenarios from the main page..To make a random map..This would require the skill of "Scripting".. This is done in notepad or wordpad or a similar utility and then saving the files correctly..It can then be played either on-line or single player random map..There is no map maker as in the previous age games..If your interests tend toward random maps..There is a great stickied thread at the top of this catagory by Monty Python..You can also post your questions in there when they come up..It's a great place to start yourself on the road to scripting..Thank you!. For posting your question in one of the stickied scenario design threads..Looking foreward to helping you in the future if I can.
    Hope this helps.
    Good Luck my friend!
