For the last two weeks or so we have had a small group of players visiting us here at Ensemble Studios. These are the four semi-finalists from our recent Warrior's Path Tournament, and two players we invited, Spody and Mr.Milo. They were playing The WarChiefs expansion pack all week, and we decided to have a mini tournament here on their last day!

Here are the results. Keep in mind that Wacko and Sowers were playing the Sioux pretty much exclusively. Sup3rMaN was using the third and as yet unannounced civilization in the expansion pack.

Round Robin...every player plays each other once.

Sup3rMan then played Sowers, both with 4-1 records, in a best of three series to decide the winner. Sowers used Sioux in every game, and Sup3rMaN used the third Xpack civilization. Sowers took the first game, but Sup3rMaN came back to take the next two games in a row!

Congratulations to Sup3rMaN and we'd like to say a big thank you to all six of these players for coming to visit us. There were a number of extremely close games during this tournament, and they have given us a good deal of great feedback on the game. Much appreciated guys! [Edited on 7/20/2006]

Lol, it sure wasn't LieS' day. :) Well, anyway gratz, Sup3rMaN. :) Btw, what did he win?

Lemme guess, LieS was playing Iriquois.

LieS was Dutch for most of his games, then went Spanish I believe.

Yup, he went Dutch in all of his games until I played him French v. Spanish. =)

Well I hope all you guys enjoyed it. What am I saying, of course you did !! [:)]
Well now I think to myself if I would have beat Milo could that have been me in that picture [;)]

Oh well.. maybe next time.. Anyhow it would have been nice to label the picture with the players ESO names so we know who's who.

Golly gosh am I filled with envy because of these 6 people.

LieS had the umich shirt on in the pic ... this explains the 0-5 record (since this was like a bowl game and we know how um does in big/bowl games, or maybe the other players used Ohio State as a civ with Jim Tressel as WarChief).

Seriously, congrats to ALL (you lucky dogs getting to play the x-pak).
