    Subject: How do i defeat calvalry?
    Dopps with both the Church upgrades + arsonal ones + card upgrades. They can take out everything; skirms are too slow and get caught in meele, they absorb cannon fire like nothing, and dont get me started on cavalry . . .

    John is right. Dragoons. An equal sized army of Dragoons not only costs less than hand-to-hand cavalry, but with assuredly kill them. Watch out for pikeman or halbediers though. They will slaughter your dragoons. If you want, keep a company of musketeers or skirmishers with you.

    The best counter for calvary is the Crossbowmen, or possibly the Skrimisher.

    u can have a small army of musketeer and keep on shooting and runing untill u get to ur town where u have outpost and fort and a bigger army of musketeer and pikemen. ( a nice volloy from the army of musketeer should kill a lot of them. while ur fighting make more pikemen or musketeer.)

    Even thought everyone already said it, Dragoons do kill all cavalry quickly... try it.

    As the Spanish you could utilize their unique unit the Rodelero. With the right upgrades you can take out a fleet of cavalry in no time. Mix in some Lancers for artillary/heavy infantry along with some Skirmishers for reinforcement and your set.

    Cant you people just get an army of Uhlans, some Pikemen, 2 Falconets or whatever, 13 Jaegers, and some Dopplesoldners?
