    Subject: How do you stop a German wagon rush?
    I have played a few DM games on AGE III and thousands of DM games on aoe, ror, aok, and aoc and I have never seen such a lopsided game as when I get rushed with 150 + wagons and mortars in back of them what can I do to stop them?

    first off... Wagons take 3 POP... 2nd.. Use HEAVY INFANTRY + Cannon that will take them out fast. 3rd.. Use Horses to flank the mortars.. They will die fast..

    well it really depends on what civ you are but what i do is a just get like 5 or so cannons and i send infantry and calvary in and i keep the wagons concentrated on them while my cannons go at it...and just keep busting out infantry and calvary and you'll get em...if they're really making like 150 plus wagons then their eco will suck if you can just beat that initial rush...so yeah...just be persistant :)...and guard your cannons wisely! :)

    The only person who has ever stuffed my mass wagon attack in roughly 40 games is criss, he did it with janisarries and some cannon. Then proved it in the rematch. He would be the one to ask if you can get him to splill the beans.

    stay away from cavalry and culverins.

    I found that using pikeman + cannons is the best. Field/falconets are the best choice IMO, just in case they decide to send in some infantry to fuck with your pikes.

    Well if your german like me. Dopple + Swiss Pikeman will reduce 200 wagons in about 30seconds.. ^^ so thats all i need.

    anything that isn't cavalry, after all the war wagons are an Anti-cav unit.

    If you are the spanish fellas you can create units called rodelereo(or something like that, well anyway if you make about 160+ of them and split them into groups of 40 you can flank the enemy with two groups and "fight" with the others. When rodelereo's attack from behind their attack is doubled, and they take out falconets tons quick. people say there crap because they dont know how to use them!! Do it (Zoolander) Do it, Do it, just do it. (all from zoolander) Im crazy
