The ottomans are just too easy to stop them from rushing you, they advance to colonial age quicker but they gather ressources slower and villagers are created slowly. With the russians I can make about 40 muskets in 8 minutes and blow away those nooby otto's trying their normal routine. When someone is using Otto's its easy to know that they're rushing. By the way its a good idea if you're rushing to sneak up a settler right before you advance to colonial age beside your oppenents base so that you can send your troops in short notice, but hide it well because if they find it your plain fails...
