Good to see something different, but awesome, in the AOE series art so far.

Though as the saying goes, "Don't judge a book by its cover". In this case, don't judge the game by its Box Art. I want to play the expansion first.

I think the burning pagoda/building in the background does it for me..

box art is so cool i like  the asian writing on the III. also if this sneak peek what is the official unveiling? 

I find it interesting how many people said they wanted it just from box art ever heard don't judge a book by its cover?

Most books can be decided if they're good or not by the cover.

Yes, you're correct about the fact the some books can be "decided" if they're good or not by their "cover", but, i want to point out that there are some books that have, lets just say a fairly bad cover, yet once finishing the book, i found the book to be really worth reading (ie. good).

But i did not mean the saying in the context of books, but instead meant it in terms of the game, some games have really good Box Art, but instead turn out to be really bad.

I want to actually receive more information about the game and what they have put into it, before i state "i'm going to buy the expansion right away" and yet, before i start marketing the game to others on how 'good' it is i want to have played it first hand.

I do like the Box Art though, it's a real good job the artists have done to make it look so "cool".

I would like to also point out that if current issues, "balance" problems, technical difficulties, and improvements aren't recognised and fixed or implemented, all of the new fans and sales gained by this new expansion will mean nothing if they don't experience a good gaming "adventure", so to speak, for what they have paid for.

The creators should keep this in mind when they finally launch the expansion, although the marketing deparment has already probably recognised this issue as a draw back to the new launch.

My opinion is that we will get the new patch before the launch of the expansion (well hopefully we will, cause it has been a long time), as the urgent fixes need to be available so new users can experience better quality gameplay.

Other then that, i would like to wish the creators good luck, as it seems they have a lot of work cut out for them, with the patches and launch of a new expansion.
