    Subject: Stopping the WW rush with Dutch
    Hey everyone. Im kinda decent with the dutch and I can not stop the german ww rush to save my life. I build ryuters and everything but there is so many of them. Then they hide about 10 cannons  in the cluster of WW's then they send morots. I go crazy. But I was hoping someone out there knew how to stop it, and what map puts the germans at the biggest disadvantage. THANKS!!!!

    ruyters will do nothing on WW.

    if they are getting cannons in the rush its not as quick as an all out rush, just make halbs or mercs

    as dutch I dont make ruyters, I ALWAYS make halbs+skirmishers, I just make em when completely necessary, as too have army very, but very fast or vs lancers and cuirrs

    he said he had cannons so halbs are better then the skirms as cannons can destroy the skirms, its harder to kill halbs because they up close

    Well. His first wave was all WW's. And i can stop it. But when he brings WW's skirms cannons and mortors, all hidden in the WW's i can't stop that. It completely drains my eco. Thanks for the help guys. Any more ways to stop it?

    try using 1 or 2 culvs and 1or 2 falcs then meatshield with halbs and mix in a few skrim that way everything the German sends will get cut down. Cannon, Mortors, Skrims and his WW.

    You can be hard rushed with ww in gp only but you said you can halndle first usual pure ww rush.

    Anyway german are lame,in vanilla i was able to win them using british but i think dutch can do the same.

    Imho you should train as soon as possible skirms and ruyts and culverin while shipping heavy cannons from hc. 

    If not wrong ruyts have a similar good radius like ww.

    Use ruyters to kill his art(dont care about ww,they dont do insane damage in cost and pop against ruyt) and let skirms kill ww(once ruyts have killed his art),you could train some halbs but just keep them as a blocker for uhlans that will come from hc to attack your art.

    i got an uncounterable rush for German DM, but its based on luck in the saloon ;)

    ruyts get destroyed by WW in like 2-3 hits
