Do you like this map and what do you rate the map from a 1 to 10?

Yes, and where in Asia does the terrain look like (desert, snow, forest, plain)? Or is it random or something?

Well i would rate it a 5 because it's a good inital map...but it foucus too much on the trade routes (which are already upgraded) making it way to "OP" in a way.The Guardians are VERY easy to kill and if your being Japan you can just kill a few, then if your losing "teleport" away and come back.

    There are natives.

Regular treasures (regular ASIAN treasures anyway)

P.S. ES you could put a TAD (haha) more huntables in there.

I think that it is a map similar to unknown. It has a lot of random stuff in it. It is supposed to (I think so) just pick a section of the massively huge silk road at random. The Silk Road stretches a long way, and it would cover a lot of different terrain.

It wouldn't matter if he had it or not, the Silk Road was huge, stretching from India to Europe.....do you think that's far?  six months to get to one end and to go back?  no?  lol.  I don't have it, but I imagine it's huge.

Thanks for that. I don't need TAD to know what I found in the demo (description strings for The Silk Road), and what was released in an interview. By the way, I don't have TAD, I live in Australia, so I can buy it from a shop on the 1st November. I am trying to find an online vendor who will allow me to download it, otherwise I will pay a friend in the US to get the cd key and then download a torrent of TAD.

I know how big it is, from China to Rome, and I said I did think it would be like that, I'm just asking if this is confirmation or just speculation like mine.

They are not upgraded. They are just like how a trade routes starts out but were you can chose Food,Wood,Coin,or XP instead of just XP like normal. They dont become Stage Coach or Trains.

The trade posts are easy to capture from your enemy.Just send your units to a trade post and it is yours if no one guarding it if their is someone guarding it kill them and its yours.
