    Subject: Failed to join games
    Can anyone help me plz?  This msg has just suddenly started to appear whenever  I try to join a game on TAD - I havent had any problems until the last few days - Id be grateful for any suggestions -ty :)

    Try these steps:

    1. Disable Firewall\Anti-virus software.
    2. Bypass the router
    3. Clean Boot Procedure
    4. Check for blocked ports

    Let me know if it worked

    Subject: Failed to Join Game ANY OTHER SUGGESTIONS????

    I keep getting that error over and over but I have done EVERYTHING that the forums tell me to do. The thing different about my problem from the other failed to join problems is that I logged about a 1000 games before this started happening. Another interesting thing is that sometimes when I reinstall the game I will be able to join games for an hour or two, but then after that i keep getting the same problem. Any suggestions.

    Maybe its not your connection but the host's connection. Here's a tip that will let you join most games for a short period: Log into ESO, and after 30 seconds, log out and exit AOE3. Then, after you exit, go back into the game and log back into ESO. You can join most games for a short period. So you can say this is kinda like restarting the game. It must be the same CD though (for example, you logged out of TAD and exit, and log back into TAD).

    I do this mostly and works often.

    i have started and restarted my game a lot but i cant join a single game anyway : /

    YeS i know there are many topics on this but i have found that i am able to connect with certain players like 1 person in 20 and when i connect with this host i add them to my friends list so that i can rememeber them but why is it that i can connect with some pople and others i cant surly we are all using the same ports ?.

     example ; i host a game and i invite the guys on my friends list they join perfectly but there friend wh owants to join cant get in  so the guy on my friend list hosts a game and i can join perfectly but the other guy cant......

    Subject: almost fixed failed to join game...need just a little more help

    After tweaking a bunch of things with firewalls i can usually join games when there are 2 or less people in them, however any more than that i usually cant get in. What did i miss? ^^

    it means that your firewall is blocking ONE or TWO of those people in the games.  In other words, we've made it to where your firewall lets some people in, but not all.  Tweak it some more and screw around with stuff I told you in the other thread.  You might get it like that....

    Subject: hopefully this will fix the failed to join stuff on tad.
    getting the latest anti virus or latest firewall. lol.... you might think im crazy but actually the anti virus programs like norton security 2007 actually ask you if you want to open all ports for and allowthat you can join the games. i will install my anti virus and tell u guys if it works. i think it does. been having the same prob ever since i installed tad.
