Re: NOOBs where to draw the line
- the_number_23:honestly I have to stop visiting this site its full of noobs... -_- as for vsing a higher player, u should feel good that they want to play you, a lot of the time I'm always chasing up mates who are pr 40 and above for a 1v1 but rarely have the time for me. even if this 1st lt beats you, who cares? u learnt his strategy and you will be prepared for the next time you vs a simliar player, and it's not like your going to lose any decent amount of pr from him, plus its a 2v2 so you'll barely lose any!
I really did not like the sound of it dude... let me tell u a secret ur manhood is not going to get any bigger because u insulted other people ^^ @ topic We don't need to loose to learn... if u are smart u see recorded games and learn with other people's defeats

The worst I got was a private with a 100% win percentage which I thought was odd, so I check his home cities and he was a captain in treaty! You realize you just quoted a guy who's been inactive for two years on a thread that is nearly three years old?
For those of you who go by avatars only, I'm not Aloysius.

Re: NOOBs where to draw the line
Your PR +/- 7 = who you should be playing.
If you're PR25 you 'should' be playing anyone between PR18-32. Anything lower and you're noob bashing. This is based off the fact that Quicksearch's default is +/- 7 PR levels.
Although it could be argued that you're noob bashing if you only play people of your own rank or lower, even if you never play anyone lower than 7 PR's below your rank. (I would argue that.)
A 'noob' is anything up to Sergeant I think. Master Sergeants and above may or may not be very good at the game but they at least have the basic concepts down and generally understand how to play the game.
Kind of ticks me off when I go into a 2v2 game or something, and I'm a 2nd Lt, my partner is a Ms Sergeant.. A sergeant and a 1st Lt join and the 1st Lt complains because his partner is too low.
In 2v2/3v3 games there's an easy way to tell if the teams are fair.
Let's use an example:
Team 1:
PR 18
PR 25
PR 15
Team 2:
PR 20
PR 19
PR 21
Add them all together: 18+15+25= 58 vs 20+19+21 = 60.
That's within 2 PR levels. Technically teams are fairly balanced. Hypothetically the PR 25 should be able to make up for his crappy teammates. At least, on paper, if not in practice.
