    Subject: Silk Road Question
Sorry, this is probably a really noobish question. But, is there a minimum number of peopel near a trading post in silk road to capture it? I went up to one, defeated the guardians, and the one steppe rider I had left didnt capture it even though I left him standing there for a minute. Was it a lack of enough units, or a technical problem?

Once again, sorry for the noobish question, but I am a noob and new to TAD. Thanks!Q

You have to move a unit right next to the trade post and I mean right next to it.

You might want to check if a larger number of units can capture it from a small distance away.  I was using a fairly good size force to eliminate the guardians, and leaving 6 to 8 troops to control the trading post.  I do not remember them getting that close,, but the computer in moving them around may have gotten them close enough.  Personally, any player that leaves one steppe rider to protect a trading post is asking to have it taken from them.  I will put castles next to them for extra defense along with troops.

[8-|]If there is more than 1 player, the capture is made by the player with more numbers of units. To maintain the trade post captured u need just 1 unit.

Sometimes the trade rout has T.P to close to each other. So it happens that u need to kill

the gurads of the next T.P. to get it (in this case u get 2 at once).

I would like to point out this thread has been dead for 9 months...

Do you use the word "pretentious" in a pretentious manner? The belief of "pretentious" being pretentious might itself be pretentious, but that would than further go to prove that the word "pretentious" is pretentious.

ya, do not dig up threads that have been dead for a while.  Just make a new thread.  The person that made this thread probably doesn't even need the question answered anymore.
