It is a nice map, especially if your forward base is next to 2 trading posts. They are able to deliver resources easily.

I could imagine playing as ottoman and taking control of the map. I tried an ff/semi fi on silk road as ottomans, and I was impressed. I took control of 2 trading posts near my enemy with my outpost wagon, and kept him boxed in with strong spahi raids. With the silk road card, and most of the map in your control, the ottomans could have another map where they have the advantage (the wood you get at the start can be used to build a tower or 2 near the tp's to ensure your control of them).

Everybody is entitled to their opinion. Some of them are just stupid.

what i like about it is the fact that once uve pwned ur opponents, u can take control of the trade route and win with the trade monopoly option and with their few leftover villies they cant do much about my control over the trade rout

one question, are trade monopoly victories exclusive to the silk road map?
