    Subject: "Legendary" comp

    My internet was taken down for two weeks a little while ago. So I couldn't play online. I resorted to single player skirmish maps, and continually put myself up against an Expert comp. I played against it so much I can now defeat it rather easily, and for a challenge must either go a 2vs1 (I get my butt kicked) or use an unfamiliar civ.

    Why should I have to do this? The comp obviously needs another boost. I propose a "Legendary" comp (if you don't like the name just change it) that has even more handicaps then the Expert one. The reason I say more handicaps is cause ES obviously either can't be bothered or doesn't know how to improve the AI (I don't either so no complaints). Stronger handicaps will do.

    if you want it harder you can manually give the comps more handicap, but it would be nice to have 1 more difficulty level.

    aoe3 ai is just dumb. Making a legendary level wont fix it.
     

    It needs patched to fix a few things then expert would be a challenge. My main thing is the dummy will blast a hole in your wall if you have them, then will just continually chip away at your wall instead of pushing thru and wrecking your eco. Ridiculous.

    Its mindless predictable and dumb.

    The aom ai is far superior.

     

    It would be nice if they could patch the ai in the upcoming balance patch.

    [:^)]i find it annoying that native civs on AI dont make docks and it seems that the only thing that comps do on each harder level is rush faster and sandbox is pathetic. if comps werent so dumb then it would be funner...and the only time that theyre not dumb is in the campaign but they act the exact same every time. es should make it so that they actually have all 3 strategies and they do them randomly so u wouldnt know,like a human,cuz all they do is rush(for those of u who dont know...by the 3 strats i mean rush boom and turtle)

    the AI on expert is the same as in medium, but it gets a 100% handicap, as fergy said, you could give the comp more handicap

    btw, what we need is the Chuck Norris dificultyCool

    Yeah why was the aom ai so smart i mean they actyally built walls and had "strat" to choose from.

    im such a noob i used to examine how the comps played and memorized it lol until i finally realized that they used handicaps.
