Hello,

I'm playing the campaign on Hard and made it to the last China mission, "No Empire Lasts forever".   This is the one where you hop from cave to cave to grow your forces and evade the patrols.   That part is no problem, but--how in the WORLD do you win after that??

 I sent my villies back in the cave to mine the gold.  I've turtled my base up in the north as much as I can, but the AI just keeps sending insane waves after waves of troops before I even get the chance to advance to Age III.  I also tried punching through the cavern blockage W of the gold mine and sneaking in my starting force to take out the Town Center south.  Nope.... 

 I don't get it.  How do you win this???

Great Wall helps, with hand mortars/castles behind it.

I gave up and finished the rest of the campaign on hard, and then came back.   I finally figured it out:  cheese.   Instead of moving north and taking over the starting town center, I sent my heroes south and did cheesy hit-and-run tactics.   Turns out you can take out practically everything just by playing hit-and-run.   Not sure if that counts, but playing this one straight up is freakin' nuts.

nah actually he is right, he asks for how ti win in that mission, and he said a simple but effective answer, although its very but very stupid and boring, but technically it answers what thread starter asked

Also, I completely agree with tetleytea, he is right, its incredibly hard to win there, I think that ES should make a nerf there or something like that.
