True, England was really lucky with the help of the US, they would have lost alone, when Germany had conquered England and after that he would have conquered Russia(together with Japan), Germany, Italy and Japan would have had in that time Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia and that means that 7/8 of the world is against 1/8(The Americas). This is way the US allied with the Allies because they knew that England was their buffer

lol ?  russia was taking on the germans on the entire eastern front ( wich was waay bigger than the west front )  america didnt really do that much in ww2 .

And euhh the filipinos were a better resistance than yugoslavia ? where the hell do u get ur information from ?

yugoslavia is one of the few countrys that freed themselves without any help from the allieds ( well or VERY limited help anyway ) .

 

Anyway my point being that some bullshit countrys that hardly did anything during ww2 ( like the philipinos )  or even like some guy said iraq and afghanistan , or even turkey  ?  all countrys that hardly did anything should  be included and countrys like yugoslavia should not be included in a possible aoe4 even though they had over 1kk casualties >.>

Think for a minute if America had actually never entered the war. Germany would never have been forced to fight another hugely powerful ally, and could devote all its resources onto the Eastern Front. Germany could literally send in division after division of highly trained, well supplied and well supported troops. Russia, on the other hand, had conscripted peasents burdened with antiquated equipment and vehicles. Without anyone else to fight, Germany could hold the Russians in check and plan a massive finishing offensive.

Yeah, nothing much except defeating Japan on its own (with some token assistance from China), planning and spearheading D-Day, smashing the Germans in France and pushing them back to their own borders. Stalin pleaded with the Allies to stop their advance so he could have the symbolic honor of taking Berlin. Keep in mind that Soviet Russia would be in flames and ruin at this point (mid 1945) if America had never entered the war.

Im not sure maybe some ppl like it and some ppl don't, say like COD4: modern warfare, lots of ppl like the game cuz the game features new weapons compare to old COD. Don't know what will it look like if AOE in modern, as nowadays wars don't like in the old days anymore as countries only use rockets and planes.

I'm glad they finally made a Modern Warfare for COD. I got tired of invading Normandy. D-Day was cool and all, but that was over 60 years ago...

 You guys won't even give it a chance? "IT WILL SUCK". How do you know? How many WWI RTS games are out? None, not one. I support a WWI AoE, it would be a creative and new experience.
 

I hope there will be an AOE 4 and I hope it covers more modern warfare.

I just think it'll be great if they redid AoE1, imagine better graphics, gameplay and playstyles, but then with the civs and units(maybe even more) of AoE1, it would be great!! (Just leave out the 'Rock' resource, it sucks)

1. I agree, they need to remake AoE and AoK before making an AoE 4

2. The "rock" resource (actually called stone) is necessary. That's what they built with back then.

LOL the battle would be over when they saw the helicopter. That thing would mow down a whole entire army in seconds if they had never seen it before. Same happened with the Aztecs the spanish come in with noise makers(guns that could hardly kill a person a point blank) and steal armor. LOL if an army has never seen something before including strategy they are dead from the start LOL.

There will be an aoe4 but aoe5 will be in the future. There will no modern day one.

That is the reason that so many technologies come from great wars. The armies want sure victory over their enemies by destroying them with newer technologies and weaponry!

The much repeated phrase that "USA saved Europe" is very much untrue, and completely dismissive of the intense war that actually occurred far from the USA and for years without USA involvement. Russia saved Europe, so did the UK, so did France and the other allies...
I would reckon that historically only the poor, suppressed Russian civilians and soldiers could claim to have saved anyone
