    but anyways back to the subject is it smart to ff with ottos? this is what i do i make a tp 1-2 houses with all villiagers on food i age up with 12 villis i start sending the made villiagers to gold by the time i age up i have 4 villis on gold and 10 on food i collect wood i make 2 more houses and a barracks by the time the barracks done i have enough food then i send all villis to gold besides 3 that are collecting food so i have 3 on food and 15 on gold i send in for 700 gold collect that and age up by 6:45 im at fortress makin 5 jans sending in for fort and makin another 10 jans and sending in for 2 cannons right after....

     

    i forgot to mention after aging up i seperate villis i send 10 to food 10 to gold and start sending villis to wood then i make market mosque house more barracks etc

     

    what am i doing wrong??

    lmao ive checked out your games on elo the only way you win is either your team mate is way better then the other team itself or you play conscripts and get happy cause you can beat them...

    So getting back to the question...is it worth it to FF or not. In many of my games I dont FF. I do a jan rush with 3 hussars to raid villis. I win most of the time in about 8 to 10 minutes. My fastest win to date is about 7:30. Some games I win around the 15 to 20min mark with tonnes of jans and some abus; typically I try to maintain about 25 to 30 jans and about 12 to 15 abus on the battlefield all the time. Jans in front on melee mode abus in the back shooting from a distance. The abus I use to take out Lbows, Xbows and Muskets. The jans will rip apart hussars and those same units quickly in melee mode. Micromanagement is key to making an effectively fast rush.

     

    The only time I've considered FF'ing is when fighting Russians, then I send Spahi. But I'm not great at FF'ing and I think I've only every one once in a FF game against them.

    When playing ottos i usually combine jans with hussars , i usually have enough wood to build both a stable AND a baracks as soon as i hit collonial , so yeah ,.. :D

    Its worth FFing against some civs, you must fast fortress against a sioux player, the only real counter to rifle riders for ottoman is Cav archers and theyre fortress units, ottoman hardly have any counter against rifle riders since theyre good against, HI, Cav and  artillery meaning that only unit ottoman has is cav archers.

    Even on that you are a PR 6 player with 1330 Elo.  No offence but even in my days where I knew nothing of the game and would stop making vills at 25 and spam pure muskets I was 1500 Elo and around 8 PR (I'm usually 1650+ now although I havnt played in a while, when I left TWC I was like 1705 or something).

     

    Edit: In your last 10 games only one has been a win where the combined PR of your team was less that theres and even then it was only by about 100 points across 2 people.
