    Subject: India: Sepoy Gurkha rush

I got dynasties recently and i was wondering if anyone could help me perfect the sepoy gurkha rush. i usualy put the first 6 villagers on wood and the next villagers on food. to age up i pull 3 vilies from wood and make them construct agra fort about halfway between me and the enemy. this has worked a couple times but most times the enemy gets an army faster than me usually because he ages up much faster than me. after i get my agra fort up i usually send those 3 villies back to wood.

what i want to know is what am i doing wrong? i need specifics on what my sepoy-gurkha rush should be like (i.e. how many villies, how many sepoys to gurkhas ratio etc...)

Please dont post if you have nothing interesting to say, most likely your not that great either. OK you should probaly have the wood trickle cards in your deck, first put alll vilies on wood exept 1 to gather crates (if on map with extra crates use 2) put all others on wood, when you have your first car shipment you should have 10 settlers including ones in training, use wood trickle switch 3 settlers to food and set villager gather point on huntables untill you have enough to age, age up with tower of victory this will give  you 400 wood build a barrack and 2 houses (keep making settlers do not stop, once you get your second card, send second wood trickle and shift 2 more settlers to food once you have about 9 settlers on food start making them on gold, by now you should be able to make some sepoy  to start with, keep making settlers and military as well as buildings till you get 3rd card make this 5 sepoy of 4 sowar for raiding, this usually does well for me and gives yo a good eco. or you could use an agra rush.

(my signature is so great that you are unworthy of viewing it, if you wisper me ill tell you it, but since my name is also holy you may not have that either)

I too had the same type of problem. You should try the 10/10 Rush, it's quite effective if used well, but is hard to perfect.

I have been playing 2v2 and 3v3 India a lot lately.  I find that who your partner(s) Civs are makes a huge differnence as to weather you win quick with the rush or die slowley in age 4. Big Smile I do have a question about the wood trickle cards though.  I use both of them early as I've seen it posted in the forums as the right strategy for Indians.  What I want to know is why not just take a 300w card at the start to get the quick boost instead of the trickle card?  Which is best do you think and why?

Now i usually used the 300 Wood card, mainly because it's faster than the trickle, and because i can build a house with it ASAP.

    But now i don't, because:

-Trickle card = 2 Settlers on wood that are unkillable

    -Trickle card = 0 Population

-Trickle card = no waste of time gathering the crates

    -Trickle card = 1.25 Trickle + 1 Villager -- 300 Wood = 3 Crates & no villagers

     That's why :P
