"Treaty" in Vanilla
I had never played vanilla online until yesterday... I didn't go online until I had bought TAD.
So anyway.... I was shocked to find no treaty mode in Vanilla but people host standard games and say "No rush"
So my question is.... if I rush them is there any penalty or could they report me as a "cheater" to a Mod. ?
Or can I go ahead and rush them to get victorys?

Fedayeen_Hagop:ya they can report you
Are you sure because it is nowhere in any RULES that I've ever seen... technically I am not cheating because you are allowed to attack in standard gameplay... It is just what you read to find out what they want to play...
Consider a person who cannot read english.... he would not know that the game is a "no rush" plus since ESO did not create treaty gameplay for vanilla it is just the users idea to do "NO RUSH" games.

Fedayeen_Hagop:they can still report you
So what if they report? what can they do? DUDE it isn't cheating!!!!! Standard game mode is where you can attack anytime.... putting a name up doesn't change the gameplay.

No, it is technically not cheating, but its pretty un-sportsmanlike to agree to a certain attack time and then break it so you can win. After all, it is just a computer game, why cheat?
Certainly you will be able to beat players of higher rank then you by catching them off guard because they trusted that you were an honorable player. But soon you will start joining games and people won't want to play with you, knowing that you play rush in NR games.
I play both types of games, and I always follow whatever rules we set down before the game started, if there were any. I don't care so much about winning, i want to play a fun, evenly matched game.
Give in to your lust and carnal desires in twisted blood-dripping ecstasy... In the name of satan, I lead you into temptation.

Re: "Treaty" in Vanilla
Hold on, how is that not cheating? You are agreeing to play by
certain rules with other players, and then you break those rules. You
know they will have little or no defense because they are focusing on
economy, and using that to your advantage. And isn't cheating by definition not playing by the rules? Or bending them to put yourself to a unfair advantage?
