    GuitarHeroMatt:
How do u know they started crying? That would be quite hard to find out on a typical game of AoE. But, if they do, its a bit sad really.

We don't mean really crying...  Crying= any form of whining, bi----ing, excuses etc.

In a nr game any form of attack on the other team is rushing.  Ive never played treaty and don't know how it works, but im guessing you cannot make your units attack the other unit untill the time is up.

errm...what if a villager walks into your base and you kill them...is that rushing? no. rushing is destroying or attempting to destroy another persons base (not just starting base but forward bases too)

here is what it is, a no rush game= you don't attack and plan what you will do, if a persons villigers are just going around and colecting food or something. and they happen to be in the path of your jogging skirmishers, thats there problem and they should use cows and farms, i agree but i don't agree to joining games where they say no rush and you just play on with that intenstion of rushing. So if a villiger is out side in your way you can kill it. doesn't matter what they say like No rushing noob!!!, no rushing is just no attacking their base not no attacking anything that they have. I mean rely. If they make a trade post and you come along and destroy it because you want it. They should have said that there is no attacking at all not no rush!

People are more lazy and less willing to work now than people who lived more than 50 years ago.

Ok maybe the settler thing is ok to some point.  Just don't go running all around looking for settlers.  People other then slap sound if they join NR games with the intention of rushing at 6 mintues.  Not attacking villys like above...  Attacking the main base with the thoughts of killing and winning.  Thats cheating if nr is in title.

That's why nearly all treaty games on nilla have HM rules. And I expect a lot of people break them too ...

one thing: u can look at ur opponents deck ahead of time to see if theyre rushing or not :)

Allow me to prove you false.... I have a deck of resource cards not military cards... yet I use the resourses to rush... HARD

okay. if u SEE that ur opponent has 600 and 700 res cards u SHOULD be able to tell that a rush is coming

if ur opponent is truly following the nr rule, then he would have eco cards, military upgrade cards. even if he has military cards it would be things such as heavy cannons or rockets...etc

Its really simple actually, if u want to play a rush game then go play the game that the hosting player meant to be a rush game. Yes technically there is no No Rush on vanilla, but even so let those who want to play NR play their game and u just join a more suitable game for you. If you join a no rush game with the idea of rushing you are simply some one who is a noob basher, and that knows that he has an advantage over the other by exploiting their trust and that gets his points based on that.

All that is gold does not glitter..

Yesterday I played a "no rush" 55 game... it was awesome I was playing against people with a better rank then me...

But out of the 6 players I had the highest score for the first 30 min.

In the end my team won but that game was near the biggest waste of time known to man.

and the only reason I will join a "no rush" is when it is late at night and that is the only game I can connect to.
