Subject: Is diplomacy (choosing allies and enemies in game) and tributing the same as AOE 2?

    I still don't know!

Is it still possible to backstab your allies by putting your troops into your allies town center then changing your stance to enemy?

Can diplomacy be turned on and off?

How is it different from the last game?

Not possible... you cannot change diplomacy in this game.

Lol, don’t tell me that you guys still won the game after this mutual back stabbing.

Diplomacy is possible with Custom Scenarios.

We do have triggers that we can use to allow players to change the Diplomacy during the game.

You are welcome to go to Heaven Games Custom Scenarios: Ideas and Requests Thread and request that someone makes a scenario like that.
