I played a treaty game the other day, and I noticed that my Sioux enemy was just massing Rifle Riders, and never did anything else. I trained doppels and war wagons in massive numbers, but they always won, so I looked at their stats and, wtf? They all had 550 hitpoints, and altough he was doing an attack dance with 25 villies, without the dance it had 36 attack, and X3 vs Infantry and Cavalry, and X7 against artillery! What the hell is meant to beat them? Seriously, these are more OP than friggin Cuirassiers, which i dealt with easily from another french enemy.

Heres some suggestions to balance them. Since they already have Bow Riders for anticav, just remove the bonus against cav and they would become balanced again. Or make them 3pop and more expensive. Alternatively, give each cav unit a build limit of 25, which would encourage some variety (this could be done for all civs to avoid balancing issues, or am I just an idiot). Just do something! If the Sioux mass Rifle Riders, and Russians fort hop and mass mortars, theres no hope for any of us.

Well at least it has happened to you... I have a aweful time trying to beat their cavalry.... they move SO fast too.

I know. And the ****in Warchief, their cavalry is incredibly, phantasmagorically OP. Infact, its SFOP, and I bet u can guess what the F means. U just cant use any artillery against them at all, all of the cavalry gets a massive bonus, and I've seen a warchief kill 10 Great Bombards at once with his Swashbuckler attack. Seriously. They should have done the Incas instead.

i bet you he had no recources left near the end of the game, a sioux economy cant support massing rifle riders they cost too much...its balanced

On the contrary, he trained them all for a good 20 minutes, and took a minutes break where we killed his gatherers, then he was training them for another 20 mins without an eco and about 14 dancers! He managed to fend off 600 War Wagons, 300 Doppels and 1200 Ruyters in total, which I know because of the stats at the end. And u say its balanced...

Edit: My economy ran out first, with 30:50 settlers on food/coin and 10 wagons on each!

i know for a fact that rifle riders dont match to war wagons. War wagons have such a high attack with like 1100 hp with card can pwn any rifle rider. to me i foudn the only good way to take out war wagons where war clubs. but if war wagons get backed up by skrims they can be almost unstopable vsing sioux. i think you need new strat whats ur rank

oh yeah and ur stupid if you didnt use dopple soldiers u can upgrade them with speed and attack/hp and rifle riders which are susposed to counter them cannot i tryed it before vsing a expert german player i even massed rifle riders and he still pwned my army and i couldnt hit and run because where were on a small map

Never use doppls against rifle riders.

Use skirms or ranged cavalry like ww(because rifle riders have heavy cavalry tag) who get a bonus against rifle riders.

If you see his units having too much hp maybe he was using tepees. 

Use skirmishers, and you can beat them easily
