An elmeti got 1000 HP...

Man urumi have got just the half of that...

Also, the elmeti makes 120 damage against a sepoy (96 if we considering the hand resist the sepoy got), a mansadbar urumi makes just 45 (consdering everything, faster attack, etc...)

wrong, the explorer could just use shrap tooth attack, and also a spy just needs 2 shots to kill an explorer.

Hey Ivan, stop changing what I say to make me sound like a noob. I said the Urumi has plenty of HP, not plenty more than an Elmeti. 500 Hp is a lot more than most units, so I thought that would be plenty; I doubt that an Exalted Sepoy can get 500 HP. And the sepoy deals 3x its usual hand attack against the Elmeti, whereas it doesnt to the Urumi. So although the Urumi has about 50% of the attack of an Elmeti, a Sepoy has only 33% of the attack it would have had. And the Urumi has ranged attack, so hand resist doesnt affect it. So its not as bad as u made it out to be, although Im probably still wrong anyway

Right, this time Im gonna make sure I dont get this wrong like so many previous answers...

If theres no micro, then both units die pretty quickly, but the skirm stays alive for an extra shot longer than the Gurkha, as the Gurkha has 5 less HP, but 2 extra attack against the Ronin. As we know that neither of these skirms can kill the Ronin, the only important factor is HP, which the gurkha has less of. Therefore, the skirmisher is better againsty the Ronin.
