    Nah, because there are more villagers, more of them get damaged by splash damage.. I tested it, the Settler Wagons won with 3 SW's remaining, and the villagers won with 3 villagers remaining.. the settler wagons are practically 2 villagers, so I guess they are better.

    Although I guess the results would differ depending on how you used the settlers/settler wagons..

    Without Micro, the Rider.

    Which is better against a Gendarme? Imperial Doppelsoldner or Veteran War Wagon?

    Doppelsoldner easily. War Wagons can't hit and run, have a slow attack time, and Doppels will force the Gendarme in melee so it slows down.

    Wiba melee Yojimbo? 3 Pikes or 6 Xbows?

    Rajputs get a bonus vs light infantry (coyote runners, desciples, rattan shields). Crossbowmen are ranged infantry - light infantry are infantry that act like heavy cavalry (good vs archers, skirmishers and artillery).

    To the above post, 3 Pikemen (I think),

    Which is better against a Rodelero, a Doppelsoldner or 5 Couriers?

    lol well since both the pikeman and 10 villagers would lose i say the 10 villagers would win.

    i dont beleive settlers can fish off the shore in aoe3 like they could in aoe2. s a fishing boat
