    Subject: How to counter anti cavalry cavalry?
    I usually have a hard time beating anti cavalry cavalry units so whats the best unit to counter anti cavalry ex. Dragoons?

    Skirmishers are the counter to ranged cavalry.

    skrims work best. you migt can run them down with rods though

    almost any infantry can kill them: musks, pikes, skirms, halbs, but light infantry works better

    Muskets work best because you will generally outnumber the enemy with them and since muskets are ranged the enemy can't perform hit and run on you like they could on halbs or doppels.

    rifle riders count as both heavy and ligh cavalry, so if you use dragoon, you get a bounus to them, but they only do thier base damage to you.

    Since Thoroughbreds, that's when. 

    Making a unit cheaper and faster to train does not make them win.Also this is a basic AOE III section and that card is not in this discussion because it wasn't introduced until TWC expansion.

    Crossbowman, Longbowman, Skirmisher, Cascador, Abus Gun and the Strelet counter them.
