    Subject: 40 min treaty Aztec vs Spanish

    I need some help defeating the Spanish i use the Aztec by the time the treaty is over they usely have a large number of dragoon

    Does anyone have any advice?

    dont use aztecs vs spanish, spain is one of the best civs in treaty with missionaries....and aztewcs arent very good at all.....so well, i would recommend you to play spain, france or russia.  io dont really lioke op civs, but its the only way to play against them

    NEVER use aztecs against spain... For a simple reason that spanish players get lancers,  which have 4x multiplier against ANY infantry, and since aztecs is nothing but infantry, they have no trouble dealing with aztecs. All they need is lancers and missionaries to win the game with ease.

    Like someone said, use japs to break into their base within minutes.
    France can do ok against em due to superior eco.
    Russian are strong at pushing into bases as well.
    Ports might do a nice job due to long range dragoons. They can snipe down missionaries pretty well.

    Aztecs are good if you can utilise them to their potential Big Smile

    Against Spain who will only be using 90 pop military compared to your 160+ minimum (220+ at the start) you want to be playing very agressively. Make sure you have the card that increases wall hp (comes out at about 35K maxed). 3-4 layers of wall is fine though up to 10 would be nice. Already you got 120K wall hp. Basically the trick is to completely ignore him attacking your base and whack on the dance. Hit his base from mulitple sides (decrease the spread of missionary aura and make use of pop difference in armies). If he had been attacking you he'll definetly be comming back to protect his base or if not either way put on attack dance when your walls not being hit. Jaguar/Coyote/Eagle/Arrow/Mace/Ealge all extremely good units so use them all in combos.

    If all goes well though you'll be in his base right from the start, skulls from cards and BB + firepit useful in initial army. On an open map best thing is wait till his army attacks you then destroy his walls while he has to walk back ^^ and raid and kill everything.

    Remember the Infinite 30 Zapotec and Infinite 30 Holocan cards as they take up no population whatsoever. That's 60 extra units ^^

    Nice ill wish i try that i vs my friend who uses the Spanish i used only Skull Kinghts and my friend used only Dragoons we played for a few hours and it was a stalemate next time ill try your way.

    I recommend india with them you can get into opponents base almost at saem time japan can
