    Also gold's good for exploring new land (combined with food) and buying resources on the market. If you're selling resources you should make sure you get the lowest bid btw.

    It is a little confusing though, how much resources are worth compared to gold. I glanced at the market, 2900 something for 10 ore? Wow.

    It's pretty expensive, expect the prices to go down quickly. That 10 ore is probably only worth around 100-200 gold. :)

    Its interesting that sandrob made the 20 person slot limit, when people will just create "sister colonies." Maybe it's just a beta thing?
