    Subject: Asian Civs, native embassy

I don't see anything like an asian version of the Native Embassy, is this correct?  Do I have to produce natives from the original native sites across the map as an Asian civ?  This seems pretty lame if it's true.

Well in all fairness, I think the asians have plenty of other stuff to work with. For instance, European and Native civilizations don't have a Consultate Agencies OR exports. Also worth mentioning that Native civilizations just don't have a church, which can be annoying since the church has two techs that help make units faster.

Plus, you can look at history and see that the French, for example, did plenty of alliances with the Indians, and so did the British and Spanish. China, Japan, and India, didn't exactly get involved with natives, did they?

Oh yeah, right, it's not historically accurate to give Asian civs a native embassy, but it is for all the others??  Yeah, plenty of Ottoman/Native American history, right.

This game is hardly historically accurate.  Saying that's the standard and why you shouldn't include asian native american embassies is inconsistent.

Also, maybe you two should take your personal attacks somewhere else - 'forum tough guys'... sheesh.

Yeah but the Ottomans are just one exception that they probably left in simply because if, in the basic AOE game, seven civi's could do it and the eighth could not, that'd get some complaints.

But seriously, the natives get the fire pit, the Europeans get the church bonuses, and asians have exports. There's plenty that's not equal, but still doesn't throw off balance and makes the game more unique and interesting.
