Increase PR for team games
I've noticed that a lot of players who mostly play random team games tend to get stuck around 1st lieut. With team games there are a lot more factors beyond your control to hold you back or give you a win. In light of this give and take, it doesnt make much sense for the PR impact to be reduced for team games. All that does is keep players stuck in place, especially with random games.
In a perfect world, ES would rank 1v1 games separately from 2v2, 3v3, and 4v4 since they are drastically different. But since that is a lot to ask, why doesn't ES just make the team games have a greater impact on rank?

the reason why the team matches impact your PR less then 1v1 is probably because you get a lot of lower level players teaming up with higher level players and noob bashing two other lower level players. Also it could have to due with the fact that some times you get stuck with a really horrible player who gets killed eight mins into the game and leaves you hanging.... its not fair to heavily impact a decent player who gets screwed by his teammate.

Great point, not much else to say.

That can be factored in. The fact is, if you play a perfectly even team game and win you get less PR than you would for beating someone in a 1v1 with a lower rank. The same works for losses. Basically, it is a lot harder to make your rank move because teams games are worth less.
It annoys me when I win a game against 3 opponents with higher ranks than me and the PR increase is less than when I noob bash a sergeant in 1v1.
Apparently 1 mstr serg in 1v1 is worth more than 3 captains in 3v3.

Re: Increase PR for team games
You gain rank according to who you are "paired up" against. In one game, my ally was a captain and I was a 1st leuit. The opponents were a 1st leuit "paired up" against my ally, and a brigadier "paired up" against me. Anyways, there was a huge battle and we won. (This part is important!) I went up from lvl 25 1st leuit to lvl 28 captian, while my ally only got 0.4 PR. SO....in team games, ALWAYS do your best to get "paired up" against the highest ranking opponent. IF you lose, then you will lose the least amount of PR, or gain the most if you win. IT'S A WIN - WIN Situation! from the hand of, murdilator

True, but you get a lot more chances to win Vs. 2 Sergeants than a Brigadier and a Colonel...
So if you try to play only against very strong players, you're just losing time; you'll lose like 0.01pt but get a very bad winning %, and rating, and keep losing

Don't think whoever you fight of a team is a factor. You prolly player way less games than your ally, and most of all the average of the enemy team was far beyond your rank while the average of the enemy team came in the region of your ally's ranking. Causing him to gain way less, it's in hope lower rank bashing is avoided.

The PR stats is true if thats what you're asking...or do you mean something else? (if you're asking about that brig, it was a nr20, and my ally and friend and I know some OP strats on that type of gameplay) from the hand of, murdilator
