    Subject: Revolution Politicians

Recently I've been using the revolt option, just to experiment with the units and features of that. I'm not sure I've been able to use every revolt civ, can someone list all of the politicians and the civs they represent? Off the top of my head, I have seen:

Santander: He never really led a civ of his own, but he was a commander alongside Bolivar and was integral in the success of the Gran Colombia revolution.

    Hidalgo: Mexico

    Bonifacio: Brazil

    George Washington: US

    Bernardo O'Higgins: Chile

Argentina: I can't remember which politician it was.

Bolivar: I'm guessing it would be Colombia, but I don't think I've used him yet.

There is that generic civ with the black and red flag, which you get if you revolt in some of the North American regions. I forget who the leader is.

    Are there any more?

Bolivar is from Venezuela I lived 7 years there then came back to US.

I will explain Bolivar wanted to make Gran Colombia from many countrys he had gave freedom to.

    Peru,Bolivia,Ecuador etc.

But people of those countrys didnt want Bolivar to be leader of all that territory cause they will lose there power and no one wants that.

But he is from Venezuela he was Born in Venezuela and he had a Venezuelan-Spanish Family  Santisima Trinidad Bolivar y Palacios

    Hope helped you understand.

I know about Bolivar, but I'm only referring to the game. The nation of Venezuela was only founded in 1830, the year that Bolivar died. Prior to that it was included in Gran Colombia, which if I recall correctly is the civ you get if you revolt and choose Bolivar as your leader.

edit: Ok, after playing a few more games I've found that:

    Bolivar- Peru

    San Martin- Argentina

Nice job, thanks a lot! And interesting reading about Haiti. I didn't know that their original flag was black and red.

I still would have liked to see a Confederate States of America led by Jefferson Davis, or Texas Republic led by Sam Houston, but these extra civs are a nice touch. A lot of people bash the revolution option, but when a game is deadlocked it can give you the upper hand needed to win. Especially if you have enough trade routes or a factory or two, your economy can keep going while all of your colonists are in battle.
