Red: Units/Building shipments
Green: Economy shipments
Purple: Doppelsoldner (and some Pikemen too) shipments
Blue: Other (usefull) shipments
Yellow: Team Cavalry Hand attack (usefull in team games, or for your Uhlans)
Again: This is an EXAMPLE (I don't use it, and I don't know if it is good in real).
However, with this deck you can easily go over the 200 pop.

Your exackly right mikey, dops will beat LI 1 for 1 but there is no way a German player can send in 75 Dops to counter 75 LI.
True, BUT, say you got 105 pop settlers/SW's, first send the Treaty of Westphalia card (Unique German Church upgrades), send the advanced arsenal card, and any other Doppelsoldner enhancing card. Delete all Uhlans you got (so still at 105 pop). Then create 47 (or less, but with some cannon) Doppelsoldners which will give you a pop of 199. Then send the 10 Fusilier card, which will you give you a pop of 219 (if I'm correct). After that, research the Zweihander upgrade in the church (unique German), you get another 10 (or 12, not sure :P) Doppelsoldners (239 (or 243) pop!). This will give you 57 (or 59) Doppelsoldners and 10 Fusiliers. At this moment (or earlier) you can research the Advanced Arsenal upgrades. This will give the Fusiliers a Ranged attack of 80, and a speed of 7.15(Hit&run Gendarmes?)! With the Doppelsoldners fighting (or get owned), this allows the Fusiliers (who will probably not be under attack) to shoot any (French) opponent to shreds! And don't forget your explorer, with his Crackshot/Sharpshooter (or whatever) attack, it can kill a Gendarme (or something else), which is pretty usefull :P

The problem with this deck is that theres no Germantown Farmers, which doesnt let u get the Uber Settler Wagon Mass. Also, merc shipments are more or less redundant in nr games, especially if they are trainable from the saloon.

Mandem:I'm shocked that nobody has mentioned that a War Wagon/ Needle Gunner/ Uhlan combo can beat anything a frenchie throws at you.
thats how id do it, no dopps. but u need to be always microing ur ww on his cuir, and on nilla where french had good but not superhuman eco, if they used cuir too much / your ww micro is good u could beat them but on twc? i dont think so cause cuirs are cheaper, all ecos got better (so cuir is more affordable) AND fur trade. they can simply out-spam u and win with bad micro. spam cuir with supporting skirm (which u protect with goon when necessary) and i dont see how german beats it, supposing the 2 players are somewhat equal in skill level.

RankNine: War_Ensemble:what if the french uses skirm/musket with cannons and circling gendarmes? the doppels may kill skirm, but with muskets as a shield they won't reach the skirm. but besides that,, french artillery is the destruction of germans since the germans don't have faster training or the (25%?) upgrade. if the french uses enough cannons, with the skirm/musket (or halb if u prefer) with a few gends circling around. U must be 1 hell of a good german player to counter that.... (or ur opponent is just noob)
Yeah ill give you that but MOST French Players dont have enough Brain power to spam more than 2 units And to Mikey Yeah but what im saying is get his skirms busy with your Skirms then run you dopps in and Slaughter
lol true...i know this french who only make musketeers...hehe........no crussairs and no skirmishers lol

eliotyuhin99:No need to make gendarmes against german in fighting, since voltigurs are better than needlers. Half skirms half goons fast artileries beat german
i can see ur logic but its always good to use melee units. like in dm if u have a goon war rush vs rush, even tho lakotas wont kill many goons, they have high hp and so whilst ur goons will be shooting theirs, they might have 10 goons shooting at ur lakotas, meaning u win.
also using melee units allows u to really pressurise ur opponent, if im german i love to use uhlans to flank opponents army, it makes them always have to be microing theirs and keeps them on defence having to protect their LI and u can really get the upper hand playing like this.
this holds true really for most civs, if ur brit lbow/goon with hussar, port cassa/jinete with hussar. but other players like to play a ranged game so it really depends on ur style i suppose, but id do it like how i explained

But Since Dopps are naturally Faster (Must be in good Shape from carrying that huge Sword) Your arguement is invalid.
