this one is good (hope noone has mentioned it already, to lazy to read through the whole thing):

in AoC, the spanish civ had the conquistador. in AoE 3, they have the lancer.

irony: you're playing as the indians, and your opponent is playing as the portuguese. you build a consulate and choose the portuguese ally.

not ironic: you're playing as the japanese, the same is your opponent. you build a consulate and choose japanese isolation.

- Villagers don't scream in sick pain when they are being burned alive in the tc (and somehow come out unscathed once it is burned down)

- You can fish all the fish in a body of water. But there just never are enough whales to hunt...

- the guy in the hot air balloon serves his country so courageously and yet they can't give him a da.mn air balloon that won't make him fall to his death in the middle of enemy territory (until inudustrial age)

- The spyglass isn't a spyglass its a crystal ball, that power should go to the ottomans ( They have the gypsy women!!)

- There are no deserters!! even when your outnumbered 50+ to 5. Which would be g.ay but funny as h.ell...they would run off the map..lol

- Cannons were actually mostly an intimidation weapon in these times. They are soooo. op in this game. They should be SOOO much fricken slower, they are like tanks on cartwheels!!!

-When Total War (this time period) comes out, if reality is what people are shooting for, THAT is the game to get. But..... I dont care, AOE RULES!!

ya tell me about it!! Aoe and its da.mn promotion of miracles in a supossed historical somewhat accurate game.

These healing miracles would be enough for both sides to COMPLETELY stop fighting because of what they witnessed. And then the game would end in world peace
