    Subject: india's rush

I here india has the best rush in the game. Is that true? Also how do i play india in rush?

i know i should put all my villigers on food until i age then put them on wood. Also i have 2 military cards ready to go, once i age. Should i be doing somthing else. Should i build the agra fort near my base or next to his? Pleas give me any aditional information that will help me.

    thank you!Big Smile

While perhaps not the absolute best, I find India's rush to be very compatable against most civilizations, especially due to the Agra fort and deadly unit combinations in age II.

Because India does not have any settler cards, it is important to take full usage of the age I card, distributivism. It provides a slow but steady trickle of wood, an essential resource for India. To start, I generally collect all crates, then send all starting villagers + 1 from the TC to wood. Every other villager afterwards goes to food. Aging with the Agra fort allows you to block your enemy from either expanding, hunts, or future mines. If you age quickly enough, put the fort somewhat close to his base, otherwise put it a bit further behind.

My first two cards would be the 5 Sepoy and 4 Sowar, perfect with the Agra because you are able to send directly to your forward base. Either use the Sowars to raid or to kill his RI, and use Sepoys are your main force. If the enemy civilization has no decent cavalry defense in age II, Russia for example, build a stable and create Sowars. Otherwise, go straight Sepoy or Sepoy with Gurkha.

    Hope this helps.

Yes i do almost all that stuff already accept. I hold off on my cards till age two so i can do both sepoy and the sowar card.

The real part is which i am still debating is it better to have the agra fort protect your base or next to his?

Put it next to him where he may not see it ( close but not to far away and put it in his way so if he attacks he runs into it that will give you comlete map control and as long as you have it your pretty well off (I find japs hard to raid) and look at lazs post its tghe best rush india has and send ur sepoys forward when you have about 10-12 and use them to only distract him and to attack his vills the longer his vills are in that tc the wider the gap becomes that you will win

Well yes that is what i do i kill there settlers.

The last game i built my agra fort in middle of the map in between us and he went around and killed some of my settlers.

Is there any else i should be doing?

Also what units should i buy for a rush game?

india's simiFF is definately stronger than their rush

you should put about 5 villagers on wood (or 4, can't remember) all times, the first card will be the wood trickle, build fort near ur base (close to some huntables)

train about 3 rounds of sepoys from the fort, if the enemy is not attacking, go raid with the muskets

after u reach fortress age, send tons of cards of eles and urmis, train muskets/sowars depends on enemy unit
