Hi there. 

Ive been clicking on record game, and it wont do it, i play quickmatches 1v1 eso name Ogt.

The last 3 games i really really wanted them to be saved because it was against ottomans, me French.

Sooo its really annoying me that i cant watch the replays, do both players have to click on record in order to have a replay?  I thought it was enough with me clicking on it.

Anyway , damned otto, sometimes its like i can have 100 xbows and he comes with 35 jannis and 20 abus and killes them all in like 1-2 mins? i did micro a lil bit, i dont know if this guy was god or whats up but my units just died like a hot knife slicing butter.

Ive also seen players with +30 mill exp that only have like 20 games played and are 2nd liutenant , so im wondering how can one erase the power rating and games played ?

 I wish i had the record to post it so someone could see how stupid my last game was, outnumbering the enemy 3vs1 and still my army dies in less than a minute.

Well i do not know about your first problem, yet the second and tird i can.

The janis and abus army kills you because you need horses in this mix. Get like 50 xbows and 10 horses and you will be fine. First attract the janies towards your xbows and then just pick off his abus and then run away with your calvary when you are done killing the abus and you should win with half your army still standing.

Second, if a player leaves for a long time and returns to AOE online all his stats accept for his experience is left to see and he kinda starts on a clean plate.

third, you need to learn how to counter, your army is like 100 strelets against 10 cannon. The ten cannon win if separated. You need to learn how to counter against other units. There are many threads on this forum on what counter the other unit. Search for it and this will help your game a lot.

Making one kind of unit will never win you a game past the sargent level.

I´ve tried the cavalry thing, and they never even get to kill 1 single abus , good otto players ,at least the ones ive played against, always have the jannies next to the abus, making it impossible for the horses to reach them (plz dont tell me about trying to lure the jannies away from the abus, were talking a serious match), so its pretty much a waste of resources, I have beaten armies of jannies and abus with skimishers only though, so i thought that xbows would be pretty much the same thing, I was wrooong.

 If i send the early skimishers card, and the otto rushes right away, i never get to make enough skimishers to defeat the jannies or jannies/abus. Thats why I try making Xbows and a strategic wall or two. IF the otto is not a Leet player like the mr in last game, i manage to defeat a rush with my villies and some xbows. Market upgrades for villies make wonders.
 

I always wondered, does abus count as infantry or siege unit? As in, if i shoot an abus with culverins , how would that work? is there any bonus? or is it light infantry, or heavy infantry?  Ohh the ignorance 

If he builds an artillery foundry AND a barracks that early then he probably had to gather alot of wood, or not build a t.p.

I guess you could try to outmass him early with dual rax xbows and the 3 hussar card. He will definitely not be able to constantly make groups of 5 jans and abus at the same time, thats just impossible without a trade post to power the shipments, and even then is still very hard. 

If you have the advantage, then push.

Well i myself usually get at least 2 tps up by 5:30 or so and a baracks  , than all u need is  to build an art foundry and than i guess u could spam them ( IF u send the shipments ofcourse )
