Subject: Africa Can Be A New XPack

Many partypoopers think Africa can't be an XPack. I TELL YOU NOW THEY ARE WRONG!!!

    Scenario:

Liberty of the Black Slaves & ___________________(figure for yourselves, maybe even something from the middle east)

    Civilizations:

There are many African Tribes. The Zulus and the Masaai have been previously suggested in various places. It could make up for the third civilization by having either: A) A United Group of Tribes B) Very good bonuses to European and especially Native American civilizations C) A new European civilization that had a large impact in Africa [I'm not sure of the African contribution but no-one has ever mentioned the poor Italians].

    Maps:

Africa is a large continent. Many Trade Routes could be present and the thousands of Native Tribes would make good alliances. It would also offer the Nile River for sea battles, and it is mainly surrounded by ocean for the economy.

I wrote this with only reading a few posts, imagine with proper research how easy it would be! It would be a blast if it was designed as well as Vanilla and TAD.

Honestly I think it would better than AOEIV, and if they don't make another XPack a remake of AOEI would be better.

For all those who need more proof here it is.

(Assuming there will be a new XPack) If Africa isn't the new XPack, what will be? Europe, Asia, North America, South America. That leaves two major areas Africa or Oceania (Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands). Only the British were interested in Australia and Traders (possibly Asian or Dutch). (To my Aussie dissapointment) That only leaves Africa!!!

AoE 3 is dying, people will not come back just to play the same game with new civs forever. New game engines are being designed, new graphics being created, new gameplay elements put in. AoE 3 cannot continue as a game with multiple expansions and expect to compete with other RTS games.

They will make an AoE 4 instead of a new Xpack, the engine is simply too old to compete with others, and great though it is AoE 3 is no Starcraft.

Firstly AOEIII has been more popular before but it isn't dying. Secondly there are no time periods left for AOEIV that could use the AOE style of gaming!

I don't like to argue or contradict anyone, but

All RTS games eventually die. No number of Xpacks can stop their decay, gamers will want a new engine or a new stlye of gameplay to reflect todays technology.

And if they couldn't think of a new time period, I'm sure ES would gladly remake an earlier time period, with improved gameplay/features.

I know this but AOEIII has room for one more expansion pack if its cheap, well advertised and damn good.

If not a re-make of AOE1 would be nice.
