imho a noob is sergeant and below, a decent/average player is master sergeant to lieutenant colonel, and above that is pretty much a hardcore expert

It's amusing that people noob bash just to get up rank when really it works the opposite way. If a smurf beats you, or even just a noob getting lucky, your rank plummets, but it takes like 10-15 games to get those lost points back.

Noob bashing is really dishonest IMO, especially in 1vs1s, I like to do quick search so if I happen to get someone who has no chance vs me I don't blame myself.

there are a lot of people out there who don't have much self-confidence and take losing very personally. So they always want to win; they prefer winning over having an actual challenge.

so they play newbs.   

There was a master sergeant that joined my game to noob bash me.

I was what ever i did not care if i lost and i ended up beating him.

Because it's pure fun. I never noob bashed until my last week playing, and that was probably my most fun week. Sometimes you'd get booted, but usually I could join a game with conscripts and they wouldn't understand my rank. I always told myself the fun in the game is playing, not winning. Oh how wrong I was. Wish I had done it the entire time.
