Ports have a card in their deck that need a boost. Team Fish Market wich gives 10% fish and whale gather rate!!!
Fish Market card gives 25%. There´s a gap of 15% gather rate between the 2 cards. I thought maybe it´s because TEAM card must be significant lower, but then i saw a few Team cards like:
Team Furrier (Russians) wich gives 10% for Hunted animals and 15 % for Berry while Furrier card gives 15% for hunted and 20% berry. There´s a gap but only 5%!!!
Another one: Team Sawmills (French) 10% wood gather rate while Sawmills card gives 15%. Again a gap of only 5%.
Team fish market for Ports must change for 20% (imo)!!!
German and french gathering rates are impressive: They have the best gatherers: Settler Wagons and Coureurs. For Food upgrades they have these cards Silos(15% mill), Refrigeration (25%food), Sustainable Agriculture(15%mill) Guild Artisans(Germans - Improving all gather rates by 35% for wagons), Furrier and Spice trade for hunting and berry.
French have for example: Cobertism, Eco theory, Silos, Refrigeration, Sustainable agriculture and distributivism.
Ports have encomienda manor the unique church card that ONLY improves mills. Ok it´s a 20% improvement but reduces 5% all other resources including hunting and berry. does not affect boats wich is good on water maps if you have them with whale oil gathering coin but on land maps . . .
This card must change(imo), since we should have silos instead. And it´s supposed to be a unique card!!! This tech church card improves all civs on something and reduces another. Why not make it a 20% food gather including hunting and berry and increase building cost a bit?
What do you guys think?
Another thing: Why has organ gun 3 pop cap? if 4 guys carrying a Mortar = 4 pop,
2 guys carrying a organ gun =2 pop. .
Ports lack artillery. I love organ guns and they chew infantry like hell but the other civs use falconets wich are supposed to be better against infantry o buildings with much more effect than organs. Horse guns cost 6 pop cap. To much. Changing Team Artillery hitpoints card to Team Artillery giving 10% - 15% more damage to our artillery would be awesome.
We have no falconets, no grenadiers, no upgrade cards (from HC) for pikes or halberdiers. We only have Mortars . . .in Age 4!!!
Another thing: why hussars cost 2 pop and cossacks 1 pop only?
The Blood Brothers card improving AMERICAN native allies to Champion level. Does anyone use this card??? Why not give Ports Warrior Societies instead? Or a card that improves All native (american and Asian) hitpoints and damage? It would be great with ATP and Native warriors card!!!
Sorry if I criticize a lot Ports tech (We do have great cards too) but I just want to contribute to make this game even better. Ports are considered UP by most players and there are many cards in our tech tree that are very poor or useless at all.
The last patch gave Ports hussars a great boost and I enjoy cassies more now (maybe a 1 damage more would be great) but we really need a eco boost this time!!!
