I have already checked the faq and microsoft pages and cannot find the answer to my problem. Help would be much appreciated. My problem is this: When I go to play AOE III (no expansions) the picture of the map shows up as usual but then the game asks me to enter my product code. I tried entering the same one i entered to install the game and that did not work. I also thought that maybe i couldn't use disk one to play the game and tried using the other "game disks". That didn't work either, it said, "Please insert disk one". Which I did and the product code thing came up again. Please and thankyou.

Reinstall the game.  When are you getting this error?

Actually i just reinstalled the game and it still did the same thing. I get the error message when the game starts (i.e. i insert the disk and press play or i click on the icon on my desktop)
