    And that's what this is about. I want ES to make Halo Wars for PC. Halo Wars is an Ensemble Studios game.

    What's the problem?

    i dunno sci-fi titles just doesn't completely convince me

    and if this was made for PC too it would surely have a rough time against starcraft 2

    Halo Wars has been built from the ground up to work on the 360, guys, transferring it to PC would require large amounts of coding to be re-written. Unless there is a sizable market for Halo Wars on PC I highly doubt ES will bother.

    Don't get me wrong, I'd love it for PC, I am just being realistic.

    The x box like other gaming consoles is basically a computer dedicated  to play games.  The games are made on computers and the prototypes are played on a computer first before they write them to play on the x box. So it would not be that hard to make it for a PC. The graphics above look too advanced to be played on most PCs in the world, so they would have to be toned down a bit but as far as a sizable market goes idk but i would love a Halo RTS game to come out on PC.

    I don’t think you guys have to worry about that.

    Sooner or later Halo Wars will come to the PC.

     

    Halo 1 and 2 have been released for the PC, so why wouldn’t they release Halo Wars for the PC?

     

    The RTS market is much bigger for the PC platform and Ensemble will miss a huge market if they don’t release Halo Wars for the PC.

    However, at this point they cannot confirm that because they want people to buy Halo Wars for Xbox-360 and they don’t want people to wait for the PC version.

     

    The real question is how long we have to wait until Halo Wars is also released for the PC.

    That can easily take 6 months to a year or even longer than that.

     

    IMO, the smart thing to do is to release Halo Wars for Xbox-360 and the PC at the same time before Star Craft 2 is released.

    Once Star Craft 2 is released many players will get hooked to it and they will have no reason to buy Halo Wars.
