Subject: Error loading the PID Generator DLL

Hi, I having an issue with the game installation process, and I am receiving this message. I have looked through the boards and the net trying to find a solution, but am yet to find one, and I was hoping that I might find some help on this board. If anyone has any help for me, or a link to a site that would help me, it would be greatly appreciated.

I am not familiar with that specific error message, but the only times I have seen an error message similar to it are with the use of non retail versions of the game.

Some general installation suggestions:

Make sure your machine meets the game's min. system requirements and you video card is supported.
Do not overclock (cpu or video)
Make sure that your video card, sound card, and network card drivers, as well as router firmware are up to date. Visit you manufacturer's website for more information.
Install all the latest windows updates
If you have XP verify you have the Windows Installer 3.1 v2 service installed
Reboot your computer with a "Clean Boot", to disable any background applications
Browse to and empty your windows temp folder. You can find your temp folder by clicking start=> run, then type %temp%, click ok.
De-fragment your hard drive
Use a windows administrator level account when installing
Make sure you have all the windows updates.
