seriously someone help!
i know i just made a thread like this but instead of the moderator helping me out, he locked the thread because of spam. (i have already re-installed aoe III) i went into vanilla and clicked multiplayer etc etc...but it said "lost connection to eso" i do get an error message before the game starts up, it doesn't affect playing against the computer but heres what it says: "cannot
create log file. ensure that you have full rights in the directory
where age of empires III resides, and that you have available disk
space.\n error: the process cannot access the file because it is being
used by another process." any ideas?

Make sure you are running as an administrator download any patches for the game from www.eso.com click downloads on the left, then game updates.

i have installed all patches, and i went into the control panel, clicked user accounts, and it said my account was a "computer administrator" so does this mean that i just cant play online?

"cannot create log file. ensure that you have full rights in the directory where age of empires III resides, and that you have available disk space.\n error: the process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process."
what does this error say?
read this part carefully :the process cannot acess the file because it is being used by another process
this error has nothing to do with your multiplayer connection.
you get this error when you try to run the game file twice, you need to double click the game icon once not twice.
i get this error too at times when i click the game icon twice.

try shutting down your firewall and then try to get online.
if that works then switch on your firewall and make an excepion for aoe.

how old are you?
m pretty sure your parents installed the cyber sitter on your pc hehe
its basically a baby sitter, it tells u what to do and what not to?
its worse then a firewall, the only way you can get rid of it is by restoring your system.
