the only way to kill shogun+daimyo is to attack from every side, so ashis wont be able to cover daimyos completely and you will be able to get them, trappingthem with halbs is very useful but not easy.
personally, i play japan, and my daimyos are barely ever killed, so im not sure.

ct12345: I have played against Japan 15 times an have lost about half of them, and to bad players on top of it. I need some help on to handle the shogun thanks.
lol i played 5 games 1 v 1 with russia vs japan and won all of them xD And they were not bad players. It really isnt hard, all u need to do is have 3 forts up at their base, keep pressure on them at all time. Make sure u allways have culvs around and then spam strelets and halbs vs ashis and halbs/cav archer vs naginatas. Having a few (+-2/3) falcs in ur army is allways good, but not nececcary. U will see his eco dropping coz japs cant keep up the spamming, and u have an artillery overweight. Bring in devastating mortars and grens when u see his score dropping, and when walls are allmost down its time for OP's. and the its gg

Can i play against you 1v1 I use Japan you use Russian? Ashigaru are too strong for all Russian units, Japan dont even need to remake units all the time as Russian units die very fast. Japan mortors come out fast from Shogun so the forts up at Japan base wont stand long at all. Your forts are probably down before you get a chance to get culverins out of ur art foundry.
