    Subject: Civs vills help

    I have always played as the Ottomans but I want to start playing another civ, problem is I dont know how many villagers to advance to colonial age with each civ since the Ottomans are always making vils. So if anyone can help me with this I would very much apreciate it. Thanks in advance. I know that for the Russians its 14 and for the Spanish its between 13-15 but thats all I know.

    what about for the french or the german? is 14 the same for every civ regardless if some vils gather resources faster than others?

    Remember that the German settler wagon costs 2 population but it works very hard, even better than the French Coreur.

    I play only french online and i always age up with about 14 villies the only time it different is when i start off on a map that gives you more food crates and i find a lot of food tresures then i age up with about 11. When you do age up with only 11 villies you colonal age eco is crap and you wont be able to start massing your army as soon as you would if you had aged with 14 villies, but you will get an early age up time thus helping you in an FF if thats you Strat. How i hope this helps its kinda random thought i just typed up...... i just had an ass load of coffee.=)

    With the brits you can go up to even around 18 with the 3 villy shipment and houses.

    Im gonna do that in my next 2v2 match so when my ally says WTF RU doing ill tell him "Are you ready, Power Rangers?!" "YEAH!"

    for british u can age with 16 (given the same time as other players) cos u can manor spam :p

    Many good Russian player age up with 17 vills...

    French and German can probably get away with aging with the least vills, but for most it ranges from 13-18

    make as much vills as possible, but don't click the vil button after you have 650/700 food(a little bit less for dutch as their vils doesn't cost food), or else it'll delay the age up

    unless you're doing a strat that need aVERY fast age up, for this stop making vills before 650 food...
