no one knows that, aoe4 prolly havent even started to be made... Lol, IMO even 2 patches for TAD havent passed yet and you want aoe4? Cmon lol... Also, this isnt the forum to discuss this, this forum its to give ES suggestions about their future games. Not when will they be released, you should have posted this in another forum I guess.

Ensemble Studios always uses stuff from its previous games to make the next ones. We say how they used stuff from AOE1 for AOE2, (then started from scratch on AOM), then used stuff from AOM for AOE3. AOE4's stuff will most probably come from Halo Wars. If you want an idea of how AOE4 will look like, check out this video about Halo Wars.
I think they'll basically use the same game engine but, of course, replace the futuristic stuff with modern-era stuff, which is relatively easy to do.
Remember the god-powers in AOM? They'll bring them back in AOE4, but instead of meteors, you'll call in nuke strikes, bomb strikes, missiles, artillery barrages, etc.
By working on Halo Wars, they've sort of also been working on AOE4.
I think they'll release AOE4 in 2010, when sales for TAD and Halo Wars go down.

how do you know that? as far as anyone(maybe except a few people inside ES) knows, nothing is known about AOE4

I hope it's about WW1 and WW2 not future or modern warfare yet.besides it just won't fit the aoe series(picking up where the other left of)
P.S i hope it comes out b4 2010(it's only 2008!!!).
