Seriously, I keep getting flags at the top left corner of my screen (like the idle villager flag) with buildings, blowguns, the globe, and other such things. What do they mean??? I read through my user's manual and found nothing. They don't go away when you click them.

 

they are groups

to make them, press ctrl+number

to add units, press shift+number

to select them, press their number

try it, select some units, press shift+1 

unselect them and press 1, it'll select that units, if you press twice, it'll center the screen on them... 

How do I destroy these such groups?

 And what do the different icons mean? I know the two villagers are villagers, the barracks would be barracks, what would the blow gun and the globe be?

to delete groups, i think it's Alt+number

the globe might be a mix of different kinds of units, or maybe unique units, i think that the envoy shows like a globe
