I have all three the versions installed (AoE III, TWC, TAD) and i uninstalled TAD without any problems and then i wanted to uninstall AoE and TWC so I did for half!

I still have it on the pc and can not uninstall. I keep trying through CD or Software through the comp. And it says its preparing and stuff and then it just closes and doesn't uninstall.                                     I had some problems with the game so i want to reïnstall to play again to play and not i ****** it up and uninstalled for half and cannot play anymore.
 

Easier said AoE and TWC do not uninstall TAD does uninstall. Please help me.

 

Your un-installing of tad may have removed an necessary .exe file to remove the other versions.

You can go into registry(regedit) and remove all entries that refer to aoe3 vanilla and warchiefs..

Hkey_current_user and Hkey_local_machine.. (software category) ..

It is best you scan all of the first three categories of your registry..Be most careful when deleting things in there..If you delete the wrong key you'll have even bigger problems..Enter at own risk..Only delete the keys that refer to aoe3,warchiefs or tad..After doing that..Go into your program files and my documents and start button and remove any aoe3 files folders and shortcuts that may have been left behind..Then go into add and remove programs and remove anything that is left that relates to aoe3..After all is done.. Defrag your hard drive. When that is done.. Re-start your computer.. Once you reboot.. Check to make sure nothing aoe is present..If nothing is left behind..You can start your re-install.

• Note: The file you will download there is named: WindowsInstaller-KB893803-v2-x86.exe
• Then, after that installation concludes, download and then run the Windows Installer Clean Up Utility
• Note: The file you will download there is named: msicuu2.exe
• After installing, first click the "Windows Install Clean Up" shortcut, then select the game you are having trouble installing/uninstalling/reinstalling (either "Age of Empires III" or "Age of Empires III - The War Chiefs"), then click "Remove"...
• After you complete the above, temporarily disable any/all anti-virus/firewall/anti-spyware software running on your system, then try to reinstall...

And whats the point of the message didn't u read: Can't Unistall(Uninstall),Play or Install...

ooh like that, sorry. I downloaded the Clean Up and followed you. And hey I think it worked!
 

Edit: I have it now deleted of my pc and its really not even in Software or any map on the pc. But..  When i put the CD in its says Uninstall and Play.. So guess what it doesn't work..

 
Edit: As I said there stands Uninstall and Play. So i clicked uninstall in both. At TWC i get the install screen and its going to install the game, So I canceled because AoE wasn't working, so I tried it at AoE but it didn't worked there i clicked uninstall and when it was at Preparing Install... It stopped.
