As a rule I don't mess with cinematics..They're just to unstable and can easily wreck a good scenerio and a lot of hard work..All that I can offer is this..
You didn't post what your play dialog is playing.. Is it an in-game mpg or.wav or is it something you made?.If it is.. Check the title of it and see if any symbols or some typing error in the title..Retrace all your steps in this trigger sequence..If that's not the case..Do your cinematic first..Make sure you turn the cinematic mode on and then off at the end of the sequence..Then try adding a fade to color effect, fire event to an always condition.. with an load scenerio effect..Don't forget the wiki faqs..Might be some small thing you're over looking?If you still are unable to figure this out..You can PM me your illustrated trigger sequence..I'll look it over too and see if I can find something.
As far as that second scenerio..Did you go out of the game after messing with the first scenerio and then back in before creating it?

After checking out your pictures..I'm not certain of your sequence..Again..I'm not a cinematics guy but here is my best shot at this..E.G.
Trigger1
Active: run imm..High prior.
Condition: Timer (5) ( instead of timer ms..I found the timer condition more reliable )
Effect: Camera cut (Check out your settings in this again..)
Effect: Cinematic mode (On)
Effect: Move to point
Effect: Fire event (trigger2)
Trigger2
Nothing:
Condition: Timer (5)
Effect: Play dialog ( Re-check your setting in here again..Especially for any symbols in the text)
Effect: Move to point
Effect: Fire event (to trigger3)
Trigger3
Nothing:
Condition: Timer (Make sure you're allowing enough time for the play dialog to show on your screen)
Effect: Fade to color
Effect: Cinematic mode ( Off )
Effect: Load scenario..( optional..Might help make sure the scenerio will start )..This is a custom trigger by reyk..You can get the code for this in the modding thread in this category, if you don't have it already.
This is for the cinematic only..Your scenerio should be seperate..The only other suggestion I can now offer you is go to H.G. wiki..Re-read all your conditions and effects..Make sure you didn't over look any other steps in your triggers..Minor things are usually the culprits.

Hello, i've got a pair of simple questions (well one's hard) but how can you disable the make ability of a factory (I need the cannon production only). And second how can I make all the pikeman for instance change their name in spearman for instance also the one's you train.

Question one..You may be able to use the set tech status effect..Set your techs you do not want to unobtainable and set the ones you want to active..If you're trying to produce the heavy cannons right off..( Or if your civ can't produce them)..Use the unforbid and enable effect..You also need to set your age to imperial as well as your civs techs to imperial..( Set all techs through all ages, pertaining to your cannons up to imperial )..A lot is involved here..Try to think of every tech upgrade for what ever unit you're interested in..Experiment..You can't just disable/alter the factory's abilities with out modding the files..If I've understood your question correctly.
Question 2..You may be able to use the change name effect.. Or.. unforbid an enable effect, or the forbid and disable effect..You can also experiment with change unit effect..I have found..When you use the change name effect..It only changes the name of one unit..There are some posts on this..I believe there was a sort of work around posted..Try the search function in this thread..Type in Change name..Change unit's name..See what comes up..You may find that the only way is again..Modding the files..Modding is not an option..If you design for or play on-line.

Haven't try'ed it yet but just in case I wanted to ask this I want player 2 to get a great bombard at a certain location when he get's 100 kills but I only want to have a max of 2 bombards. How can I stop the Third one from appearing and can't I make the third one wait?
