I know there is already one for this, but all the posts are about a year old, and they all concern the before the new patch.  Who would you consider the best civ in this day and age?

There is no better civ, only the better player.

Well, some civiliazations are obviously naturally better geared to be played.  I agree with you quite a lot.  But two equal players who compete, some civs are just better than other.  It can't be denied.  More specifically though, I'm asking if Britain or Germany offer more advantageous.

I say the German side has alot to offer with the speical anti-musketer plus the anti-calvary is ok also the Ulhan is a nice handy unit in a pinch.  Personally i like both sides but britan has a bit of a disadvantage towrds a infantry army even with the l-bows but the calvary is really strong and can wipe out many of the infantry i still say though Germany might have a upper hand.
