nice u cant mod but i will download

    llamasboy:

I suggest for the basic swordsman models, you look into using roderlos and doppelsoldners, and possibly janissairres in melee mode. Some form of lighter cavalry could be based on hackapel. Shame you cant just make new models for the game...

For inspiration, I suggest you look at Medieval 2 Total War

Ive got some screenies i can send you....

    ie

    pls size down image

Yep, medieval:II's a great game. I try to play it often. :) We have used the rodelero as a basic model for a swordsman, I believe. It's in one of our first showcases, so please excuse the quality. Anyone have questions or other ideas?

Pretty much; Knights and Barbarians is a total conversion. Buildings, gameplay, UI, units -you name it- are and will be changed. It uses models from both the expansions, so you'll need TWC and TAD to play most units. We're also proud that our mod features unit variations like in Medieval 2: Total War. This means that not all units look the same, like you can see below.
    Variations

The developers are working well enough already for this to be a successful conversion, but we also like publicity.

if you want, if i could make a scenario for it, i would just make it in the un modded game then change the units round when i get the MOD. i have an idea of waht i would do but it would probably require some custom units just for the scenario.

so if you let me make one, if i have any free time i will just whip up a scenario.

If you'd like to, go ahead. When you're finished, you can email it to me or one of the other developers to judge. By the way, if you use TAD, I won't be able to view the scenario, but the rest of the team probably will.
